This is Earth technology settler.

Belongs to Earthly units class. Requires no technology. Most land moving, antigravity and burrowing military enemy units can capture this unit instead of killing it.

Native Settlers

This is native Settler that can enter radiating areas.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Organic Structures technology. Most land moving, antigravity and burrowing military enemy units can capture this unit instead of killing it.

Engineer

This is an Earth technology engineer.

Belongs to Earthly units class. Unit requires no technology to build, but it can perfrom only limited set of actions until technologies allows them.

Native Engineer

Native version of the Engineer unit.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Smart Aliens technology.

Water Engineer

Amphibious Engineer that can also establish new cities on Ocean. Cities it builds start at size 2.

Belongs to Amphibious units class. Requires Ocean Cities technology. Unlike earlier Settler units, this unit cannot be captured.

Star Marines

This unit may be built from the start of the game. It is the weakest military unit.

Cyborgs

Attack power to the early game.

Tank

This is the most powerful Earth technology unit.

Belongs to Earthly units class. Requires Brute Force technology.

War Monster

As a native unit, this can move and fight on radiating areas too.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires War Monsters technology.

Crusher

Alien lifeform trained to be fast.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Alien Training technology.

Cyber Alien

Alien lifeform with cybernetic implants. Good in combat, and has better vision than any purely organic unit.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Cyber Aliens technology.

Rex

Most powerful alien lifeform.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Synthetic Food technology.

Paradropper

Alien lifeform able to paradrop.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Paradrop technology.

Turtle Defender

This is excellent defense vehicle.

Belongs to Earthly units class. Requires Composites technology.

Earth Sub

Burrow through earth. Only some special units can attack against Earth Sub. These can pass ocean tiles only through Burrow Tubes.

Belongs to Burrowing units class. Requires Burrowing technology.

Hunter

Burrowing unit that also has capability to attack Antigravity units with its own minimissiles. It's also an settler type unit for hostile areas, well capable of defending itself.

Belongs to Burrowing units class. Requires Supermodule technology.

Light Saucer

Nobody, but some of the other Antigravity units and Hunters can attack this unit. This unit itself can attack other Antigravity units.

Belongs to Antigravity units class. Requires Antigravity technology.

Bomb Saucer

Nobody, but some of the other Antigravity units and Hunters can attack this unit.

Belongs to Antigravity units class. Requires Unified Theory technology.

Spitter

This alien lifeform is first bombarding unit.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Spitter Control technology. Unlike most land moving military units, this cannot capture enemy Settlers.

Heavy Spitter

This improved spitter can both make bombard attacks, and transport missiles next to targets.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Modified Spitter technology. Unlike most land moving military units, this cannot capture enemy Settlers.

Explorer

Like all Earthly units, Explorers are unable to enter radiating tiles.

Belongs to Earthly units class. Requires no technology.

Scout Animal

This is native scout animal that can enter any land terrain.

Raft

This vessel allows coastal travel, but not on Boiling Seas.

Ship

This is basic ship type. It has no any special equipment, so it cannot enter boiling seas.

Destroyer

This vessel is for battle! Too bad it cannot enter boiling oceans.

This is first unit that can enter boiling oceans - and more.

Earth technology unit that can establish traderoutes and transfer goods to help building wonders in other cities.

Caravan

Native caravan unit, that can move on all land terrains.

Belongs to Native units class. Requires Smart Aliens technology.

Stealth Spy

Stealth Spy can make diplomatic actions, and is invisible until next to enemy unit or city.

Belongs to Earthly units class. Requires Stealth Module technology.

Teleporting Missile

Teleporting Missile can teleport and attack to neighbour tile.

Belongs to Missile units class. Requires Teleportation technology.

Antiburrow Missile

Missile that can attack also against burrowing units. Since more expensive than normal Teleporting Missile, does not completely replace it.
